I decided to just repair my existing system and save $150 but if anyone out there was on the fence about a PS3, there’s no reason not to go for it this September.  Also, rumored software emulation for PS2 games coming this holiday season. The more I look at this, the more I don’t like it. Look at it. It looks so cheap. One thing I didn’t notice is that it doesn’t even have the cool touch-sensitive buttons on the front. Yes, it has a larger hard drive and plays PS2 games blah blah blah. I can count on one hand the number of PS2 games I’ve played on the PS3 since I’ve bought it (1 maybe). And I haven’t even come close to filling my 60 GB of hard drive space on my current PS3. This is typical cheap Sony manufacturing and I would guess that these things have problems when they are released.
